Free crochet mushroom pattern

Materials

* Yarn: Red, White, and Black for the eyes
* Polyester fiberfill

* Red felt (small piece)
* Crochet Hook (any size)

* Red embroidery thread
* Needle

Abbreviations:sc = single crochet
                      st = stitch

                      inc = 2sc in next sc

                     dec = single crochet next two stitches together

                     sl st = slip stitch 

                     FO = Fasten off

Mushroom
Start with Red Yarn

Rnd1: 6sc magic circle (6)
Rnd 2: 2sc in next st. Repeat  (12)
Rnd 3: sc in next st , 2sc in next st. Repeat (18)
Rnd 4: sc in next 2 st, 2sc in next st. Repeat  (24)
Rnd 5: sc in next 3 st, 2sc in next st. Repeat (30)

Rnd 6 - Rnd 10: sc in each st around . (30)

Rnd 11 : sc in next 3 st, dec. Repeat (24)

Rnd 12 : sc in next 2 st, dec. Repeat (18) 

Rnd 13 : Change to white yarn, 18 sc in back loop only.

Rnd 14 : 18 sc in back loop only. 

Rnd 15 - Rnd 19 :  sc in each st round (18)

Rnd 20 :  sc in next st, dec. Repeat (12)  

Rnd 21 : dec. Repeat (6). FO.

Spots (make 3-4 in white)

Rnd 1: 4sc magic circle (4)
Rnd 2: 2sc in next st. Repeat  (8)
Rnd 3: sc in next st, 2sc in next st. Repeat (12)
Sl st and FO. Leave a long yarn for sewing.
Sew spots to top of mushroom.

Cut a small piece of red felt and sew on the mushroom, the eyes can be done by using the black yarn.
